Maingau will continue supporting Ionity

Contrary to what you might have read on a number of German blogs, Maingau just confirmed to Mr. Laadpastop10 that nothing will change April 2nd, 2020. If you read any German EV news outlet today or yesterday, it was soon to be fact that your Maingau charging card would stop working at Ionity stations.

EnBW

The German energy giant EnBW recently accounced the 2nd of April, 2020 they will stop supporting Ionity in their app/using their charging card. That move I can totally understand. There are many spots in Germany where they share a physical location of HPC’s and then it would make no sense at all of course. I used EnBW on my last German roadtrip and it worked quite well if you download their Mobility+ app.

Meanwhile, at home

Obviously right now everybody around Europe is homebound but one day, long distance trips will be happening again! And I look forward to using Maingau just as before.
