Tesla introducing variable Supercharger pricing all over Europe
Another month, another Tesla pricing update for Europe! As discovered earlier this weekend by “Tesla_Adri” (who else!) Tesla had been cooking on a new price mechanism for European Superchargers.
Time Based Supercharging prices
Active since midnight, when topping up your electric vehicle at the Public Supercharging locations around Europe pricing will depend on when you start your charging session. Between 4PM and 8PM peak pricing is active in most countries:
Off-peak pricing
In the morning, early afternoon, late at night, pricing has gone down significantly (they went up quite a bit earlier this year). Some examples from NL/DE/BE/FR:
It seems only Iceland for now is not participating with fixed pricing 24/7.
In Spain I found the peak tariff to be different from the rest of Europe between 6PM & 9PM.
I expect a new update next month, just as we’ve seen with Fastned announcing monthly pricing updates.
