What started in January as “way too promising”, lived a longer life than I could have predicted. But the “end is near”. At least the end of an incredibly cheap offer. In some countries, it might still be attractive. It just depends on your needs as well.
About Bonnet
Bonnet became known after the Fully Charged Show sat down with them, and since they offered Allego and Fastned at incredible prices, around Europe there was no easier way “to charge on the cheap”. Real #evtravelhacking at work. It was possible to charge up at Fastned without paying!
IONITY
Recently, things became more crazy. IONITY got added into the mix. But as we all know, IONITY isn’t the typical “charging up on the cheap”, with their exclusive 350kW charging offer and special deals only for drivers of “the right” brand(s).
Refills
More recently, refills lost most of their value. Bonnet forced you to pick a home country. Outside of it, no more “roaming” for your refill. (Monthly allowance). It’s like a prepaid model, but not for your phone but for your EV.
“The August 1 disaster”.
It was easy to see it coming, but in the middle of summer really? Yes. Really.
